We had a chance to spend some time at the Great Escape with my Mother-In-Law’s company picnic on Sunday the 13th. Needless to say, Samantha thoroughly enjoyed herself and I think Daniel had a pretty good time, too. Below are some photos from throughout the day and a couple videos.

Since young Miss Samantha has been under the weather this weekend, we spent a quiet weekend on the couch. In the meantime, she did summon the energy to open a few Valentine’s Day gifts (not that she needed much encouragement… the word gift seems to be a magic cure for a headcold).
Daniel, on the other hand, was more interested in finding things to chew on. He did manage a few moments to grab a present, though.
Yep… She’s four.

Hard to believe, but my girl is 4 years old today. Everyone goes out of their way to tell new parents how fast time flies and that kids always grow up too quickly. Of course, new parents are too sleep deprived to really take that advice to heart.
Well, it’s true. Samantha is four, and I want to know just how the heck that happened right under my nose.
Here are some pix that Mommy took today at school while Samantha was performing the ‘Birthday Walk’.

We had a great time at Saratoga yesterday with the kids and Mike, Debbie & Blake. We always seem to go on “free hat” day, although this year it was a knit hat instead of a ball cap.
She wanted to keep wearing it despite the heat and abundant sunshine :)
