This is by far the worst thing I’ve ever seen done to a Linux desktop! But it is interesting, nonetheless.

I’m also giving the latest Ubuntu (9.10) desktop release a try on the Dell Lat 820. I soooo want to like it, but (of course) it still has issues with wpa wifi networks straight out of the box.
I still want to give it some time, so if I get it working without too much hassle, I’ll post about it.
